Array of Elegance
Jo Dean Sarins is a metal-smith and an enamelist who loves making jewelry! Her jewelry is bright and bold. If you want to be noticed for your unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry, you will really enjoy her work.
I have always been interested in making art. Since graduating from college I have studied and worked with china painting, ceramics, water colors, acrylics and oil. From the early 1970’s through the 1980’s, I painted folk art, taught acrylics at the junior college level, and did juried art shows. Then, I took a jewelry class. I was hooked! My love of jewelry goes back a long way. Can you inherit it? My grandmother loved big and glitzy.
My husband calls me a raven because I am drawn to anything shiny and glitzy. I started collecting Swarovski pins. Later, I moved on to vintage jewelry. I loved restoring vintage pieces. Soon, this collection became so big, that I decided to start my own business and named it Array of Elegance. I began to sell my vintage jewelry in antique stores. Today, I still add vintage to my new pieces.
My jewelry education is rooted in both classes and books. I have a passion for learning new techniques and ideas for my jewelry. For me, working with metal and stone has filled a need to create and see beauty not filled in the other medias. My works of art are fabricated by hand and are one-of-a-kind. My hope is that you will enjoy wearing your unique piece of jewelry as much as I enjoyed creating it. All pieces are signed and authenticated with my maker’s mark (Afghan dog) guaranteeing that you have purchased an original piece of my art jewelry.Find more about Jo Dean and the fabulous jewelry she creates on her website, ArrayOfElegance.com
